This is part hostel part yoga retreat. There are small and simple private rooms and a vegan restaurant downstairs that serves a buffet breakfast. The people staying here are quite friendly, smile and say hello. The bathrooms are shared and adequate. The other shared spaces in the complex are quite nice. The location is perfect.

I can only recommend Serenity! I've stayed there twice already and both times I didn't want to leave. The atmosphere is very special and I haven't found anything remotely similar on my travels yet. Everyone is very warm and welcoming and everyone is bound together by their love for yoga. The yoga itself is amazing and I really love the teachers. They are all very different but all very good at what they do. Plus they are as well very warm beings. Serenity is also very close to the beach (only 2min by foot) which is perfect for morning walks or sunset hours.

​​This is the only original place in Canguu… everything changes in bali( not for the better..) but Serenity is always a super friendly place with real food, wonderful people, nice yoga teachers.. I pray to stay exactly as it is!
